One calm morning, I unrolled a yoga mat under a cluster of palms near the clubhouse. The sky was pastel, birds singing, the breeze gentle. I moved through sun salutations, standing poses, gentle flow — grounded, present. The salt air invigorated each breath.
After yoga, I walked to the bay’s edge and sat, meditating on waves, wind, water’s ebb and flow. The world felt simple, centered.
That afternoon, I foraged (legally) in sandy dunes and marsh edges for wild sea purslane and saltwort, rinsed, chopped, and mixed into a seaweed & greens salad with lime-garlic vinaigrette. I served it alongside grilled shrimp and crisp corn.
Later, I joined park’s gentle walking group, exploring palm groves, green spaces, lush landscaping. That evening, I soaked in the hot tub, body and mind mellow.
